With its maximum depth of 150 meters, Solaster can reach depths inaccessible to traditional fishing and research equipment.
Its compact size of L480 x W480 x H380 and lightweight of 21 kilos make it easy to deploy and manoeuvre, even in the most remote and hard-to-reach areas of the ocean.
With a speed of 2 meters per second, Solaster can quickly cover large areas and gather data efficiently.
Stable Transmission Speed
The ROV is equipped with a cable operable in two modes, CableDeep, which is 150 meters long and has a data transfer rate of 80 Mbps, and CableShallow which is 50 meters long and has a data transfer rate of 1 Gbps.
This ensures that the data collected by Solaster is transmitted in real-time and with high quality, providing researchers with accurate and actionable information.
Accurate Sensor and Recognition
In addition to its advanced computer vision technology, Solaster also features a variety of other sensors and systems that enhance its performance and capabilities.
These include depth sensors for accurate measurement of water depth, a stereo camera with 4416 x 1242 pixels resolution for high-quality imaging and object recognition, a precision orientation sensor for precise navigation and control, a buffer battery for afterburner manoeuvres up to 2 hours, a bright illumination system with 1500 lumens for each of six angles, and a configurable motor control system that allows you to connect up to 6 motors to each module.
